Why I Hated Learn To Paint Classes
Today, lots of people are learning how to paint at home. It seems that with the new overflow of technology that most people are becoming more comfy with the idea of learning at home, instead of taking a class. I should also note here that the most famous artists were usually self-taught as well. But the leg up that you have on the now is that you actually have access to DVD lessons!
Let's face it, time constraints make attending classes regularly difficult. There is also the other problems with courses like different learning levels. More advanced painters might end up getting frustrated or impatient with the beginning students because they have to wait on them.
After I had a few learn to paint classes under my belt, I actually was more annoyed than anything else. I work random times at my place of work, so for me, finding time for classes that worked was a pain. And after I fixed my schedule to where I could actually go to the classes, I was left annoyed and angry? I felt like giving up.

Also, I can watch the videos over and over again, which helps me out a lot.
Yes its true that you won't get a chance to interact with the teacher or other students when you learn to paint from home, but I found much of this pointless anyway. I don't know about you, but when I pay for a class I want knowledge not idle chit chat. Some of the art class students treat the classes as an extension of their social life, which reduces the impact of the training for other students.
