Ways to Learn How to Paint at Home
If you looking to learn and master painting from a home study video course then you need to consider carefully what the course offers. Just because it's on DVD doesn't mean it is good. Making DVD's is an simple as clicking a button today, so you'll find that a lot of people today are actually just making their own DVD's in an attempt to sell them.
Every thing you learn begins with basics. Some DVD's that I have seen in my day, usually offer some great advice, but they assume that you already know about painting. If you are new to painting, then this might just confuse you and you might end up spending a small fortune. This can actually frustrate you to the point of quitting.
When you are checking at a painting course, then look closely at the contents of the course. The first place to start is with the instructor. Who is the instructor? You are going to need to be comfy with the instructor and confident that they actually have the ability to teach you.
Do some research on the instructor. They don't have to be the mack daddy of artists, they most likely won't be. A top artist is unlikely to be teaching art. They should to say the least, offer a large amount of their work online. This will help you find out if the artist's style is anything that you would be interested in learning. Check out the history, their training, bio and how long they have been painting. If you are happy with the teacher the next thing to look at is the instruction program.
Learning and mastering painting is not difficult if you have the right tuition so you want a tutor who is friendly and open when teaching. You are paying for the program with your money, so why shouldn't it work. One teacher that I recommend is Gayle Levee, author of Learn and Master Painting. Take a few minutes and read the Learn and Master Painting review if you really want to learn.
